Our Isles and Oceans Case Study | Promotional Warehouse

Our Isles and Oceans (OIAO) offer adventure and opportunities for young people across the British Isles. Participants experience the excitement of ocean sailing, gain confidence, new skills and life changing moments on the big blue!

What’s more OIAO work tirelessly to bring awareness to the plight of the oceans whilst promoting sustainable livelihoods.

Their needs

OIAO came to us in need of a quality range of garments and accessories that were eco-friendly, sustainable, and could withstand the harsh elements of the sea. A total of 45 sailing kits were needed to be produced for Our Isles' latest recruits as well as corporate partners. The key aims included:

  • Stay within budget
  • Produce quality goods & design within a tight turnaround
  • Keep it as ethical and sustainable as possible

What’s more…it had to look great!

Our Process

We wanted to create garments that ticked all of OIAS's objectives, whilst making their first group of adventurers (post pandemic) feel confident and part of something special when setting sail. The clothing had to feel good, have a modern fresh design and be something they were proud to wear on and offshore.

Our experienced production and sales team collated eco-friendly garments that fit the activity profile, whilst staying within budget!

In the mean time, our design team got to work deconstructing their logo and playing with the brand colour pallet to create the below options...

The Outcome

OIAO's opted for our soft cotton t-shirts, 100% recycled waterproof jacket, both buffs and our yellow waterproof kit bag. Within a matter of a few days we had the stock embroidered, printed, packaged and with the client - just in time for them to set sail!
